Techli delivers innovation news and in-depth editorial on the technology, businesses and ideas that are changing the way we live, work, and play. We know cutting edge technologies and vanguard businesses are emerging around the world, not just in Silicon Valley. Techli covers technology and innovation news wherever it happens, whenever it happens. We touch on the subjects of Uberx in St. Louis again as well as AirBnB being allowed in St. Louis or not. From the sounds of it St. Louis officials are really afraid of change.

JAKS Suzzane Corbett

The 224 page hardcover book is written by food historian and St. Louis author Suzanne Corbett. It features 178 recipes from Virginia Campbell’s original 1840’s cookbook, some dishes taken from Robert’s steamboat and hotel businesses, and even a few of Campbell House Museum’s additions, like their much beloved rendition of Roman Punch. The recipes are backed up by more than 130 images of food and Campbell House Museum’s extensive culinary collection and archive. There is also a detailed history of dinning during the Victorian era, exploring diverse topics like famous dinners at the Campbell House, an exploration of who actually does the cooking, and themes like etiquette and presentation. Join us as we all get an exclusive historical look at the Campbell’s and their food and also John’s connection to Suzanne.
